The SpookySwap team is proud to announce our latest partnership with Keystone to add support for ABI authentication to the SpookySwap DEX!

Secure Signing is coming to Fantom thanks to Keystone

By using QR code transmissions, Keystone has eliminated potential malware infiltration risks and delivered an extra level of transparency compared to Bluetooth or USB. Keystone is also now fully compatible with MetaMask. With this new integration, users can use their Keystone hardware wallets seamlessly with MetaMask for DeFi, NFTs as well as for all EVM-compatible chains such as Fantom.

The growing number of ABIs in Keystone’s Smart-Contract Metadata Registry will not only help bolster security for DeFi users on the Fantom blockchain, but also the whole DeFi industry as a whole. This new partnership provides Keystone users with another layer of security so users can avoid falling victim to imposters impersonating SpookySwap dapp/website, effectively tackling the blind signing issue that is still plaguing dapps and prevent further victims in the future.

About Keystone

Keystone is a 100% air-gapped QR code hardware wallet. The wallet is designed to maximize attack cost, minimize trust, prevent potential human error, avoid single-point-of-failures and boost interoperability. It was officially integrated with MetaMask in December 2021.

About SpookySwap

SpookySwap was the first native decentralized exchange for the Fantom Opera network bringing new capabilities to ETH-alternative networks such as being the first DEX to implement native limit orders outside of Ethereum, and the first DEX to implement a bridge built into the interface. SpookySwap is fully decentralized with governance by BOO being used to determine all new farms, single-stake pools, and farm weight adjustments. Spooky’s commitment to improving user experience and DeFi utility for Fantom resulted in the largest protocol on Fantom Opera by both TVL and volume.
