First off, a big thank you to everyone who entered our first #SpookySwapArt meme contest! We’re happy to say more than 100 entrants were submitted. We’re very grateful to have such a creative community. The team evaluated each piece based on humor, creativity, and effort.
Onto our 5 runner-up finalists, who will each receive $100 of BOO!
SpookySwap has been officially live for one month! We want to thank all the community members, volunteer Discord moderators, and fellow Fantom Opera developers who helped the team achieve the amazing amount of progress seen so far on the first native Fantom Foundation DEX.
At the end of our first development update, we stated our focus would be split between expanding Twitter outreach through contests and international accounts while the development team focused on long term objectives such as incorporating limit orders. Our short term goals of updating our analytics page following the Go-Opera update, a landing page, and additional…
At SpookySwap we recently announced the start of SpookySwap NFT Giveaways. You can see which NFT prizes are available by checking the inventory here.
These NFTs will be raffled off to users participating in our #🎁giveaway Discord channel. Rather than pinging everyone in our Discord server, only users with the “giveaway” role will receive a notification that a giveaway has started. You can add the giveaway role to your account by going to the #👍roles channel and reacting with a 🎉 emoji on the corresponding message. Giveaways will be announced arbitrarily and be live for only 30 minutes at a…
The SpookySwap community came together and made our first fanart contest a huge success! We had a blast reviewing more than 60 pieces of fanart we’ve received of our mascot Grim, other SpookySwap characters, and plenty of original characters. We wanted our next contest to reach out to our community in a different way that still rewards the creativity we’ve seen from so many BOO holders, without requiring the artistic talent needed for drawn art. We’re proud to announce our first #SpookySwapArt meme contest with a total of $800 in prizes!
Reward: 1 Grand Prize winner receives: $300 in BOO…
First off, a big congratulations to everyone who entered our first #SpookyArt contest! One week is a short amount of time to create an original piece of art, and we’re happy to say more than 60 entrants were submitted. We’re very grateful to have such a talented community, and based on feedback we will absolutely continue to announce more contests that reward our creative members.
The team evaluated each piece based on theme, technique, and attention to details. …
Today SpookySwap completed our first outreach airdrop, committing funds to users currently not on Fantom in order to accomplish our long term plan to get more enthusiasts and developers interested and invested in Fantom Opera.
AlchemixFinance was a great choice for our airdrop due to being a veteran platform familiar with decentralized exchanges. We at SpookySwap consider platforms on ethereum to have a very knowledgeable userbase. Additional guides and tutorials for using Fantom Opera and SpookySwap are planned, which will hopefully contribute to growth when Binance Smart Chain users can more easily transfer funds to Fantom Opera. Our outreach will…
Now that the initial marathon of updates and development to get SpookySwap phase 1.5 and phase 2.0 of launch completed, our SpookySwap team will begin posting the progress on our long term roadmap. From our documentation you can see that the main features we’re interested in adding to SpookySwap are, in rough order of priority:
We’re really excited seeing how the community we’ve built loves our SpookySwap art, and it’s amazing to see the countless pieces of fanart we’ve received of Grim and our other SpookySwap characters. We wanted to give back to the community in a way that rewards the creativity we’ve seen from so many BOO holders. We’re proud to announce our first #SpookyArt Scairdrop contest with a total of 100 BOO in prizes!
Reward: 1 Grand Prize winner receives: 50 BOO and their SpookyArt featured on a prominent page of our website (either landing page, swap, liquidity, farm, or stake).
Our team is excited to announce our long awaited reveal of SpookySwap, an automated market-making (AMM) decentalized exchange (DEX) for the Fantom Opera network. We know you were expecting a food token, our apologies.
Fantom is currently unclaimed territory for decentralized apps (dapps) and solves many of the issues that plague DeFi users. As soon as our team saw the benefits Fantom had to offer, we were immediately motivated to launch a dapp for its network.
The potential of Fantom is currently hindered by the lack of base layer DeFi dapps. We must first thank popsicle.finance for bootstrapping…
